# KingMinos Service Terms

This is version 1.0 of the KingMinos Service Terms, effective 22 October 2026. [View the current version](/terms/).

**Version:** 1.0 · **Last updated:** 22 October 2026 **Contact:** [support@outboundsync.com](mailto:support@outboundsync.com)

These KingMinos Service Terms (the **KingMinos Terms**) are a supplement to the [OutboundSync Terms of Service](https://outboundsync.com/terms-of-service/) (the **OutboundSync Terms**). They apply to KingMinos: the websites at kingminos.com and app.kingminos.com, the API at api.kingminos.com, the product MCP server at mcp.kingminos.com, the CLI, the skills pack, and related documentation (together, the **Service**).

KingMinos is a product of OutboundSync, Inc. (**OutboundSync**, **we**, **us**). In these KingMinos Terms, **you** and **Customer** mean the business that owns the account.

If these KingMinos Terms and the OutboundSync Terms disagree about KingMinos, these KingMinos Terms win. They have their own version date. A later Enterprise contract for KingMinos wins over both for that customer.

## 1\. Scope and precedence

These KingMinos Terms cover only KingMinos. The OutboundSync product (CRM sync and related services on outboundsync.com) stays under the OutboundSync Terms, the OutboundSync privacy policy, and any OutboundSync Cloud Service Agreement or order form.

By creating a KingMinos account, inviting members, adding a payment method, or using the Service (including through an Agent), you agree to these KingMinos Terms, the OutboundSync Terms, the [KingMinos Privacy Policy](https://kingminos.com/privacy/), and the [KingMinos Acceptable Use Policy](https://kingminos.com/acceptable-use/).

## 2\. Definitions

- **Workspace** — a KingMinos workspace. Each workspace is a separate tenant. It has its own cache, vendor keys, credits, and members.
- **Member** — a person the Customer invites into a Workspace.
- **House-key mode** — a request that uses OutboundSync’s vendor accounts because the Workspace has not supplied its own key for that vendor.
- **BYOK mode** (bring your own key) — a request that uses a vendor key the Customer stored in the Workspace. The request runs under the Customer’s own contract with that vendor.
- **Vendor** — a third-party data provider, search service, AI service, or public source that a request may call. Our subprocessors (infrastructure and house-key Vendors) are on our [subprocessor list](https://trust.outboundsync.com). A Vendor you use in BYOK mode is your own vendor, under your contract with it. It is not OutboundSync’s subprocessor and is not on that list.
- **Result** — the data KingMinos returns for a request, including any cached copy we later serve to the same Workspace.
- **Credit** — the unit we use to measure use of the Service. Credits are not money.
- **Agent** — an AI tool, assistant, skill, or script that calls the Service through the API, the MCP server, the CLI, or similar.

## 3\. Accounts and workspaces

The Service is for business use only. You must be 18 or older and able to bind the Customer.

Anyone may create an account. Free credits need a verified work email. Personal mailboxes (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud, Proton, and similar) and disposable addresses can still sign up and pay, but they do not receive free credits. We grant free credits only to the first Workspace on a given email domain. Teammates join that Workspace by invite and share its credits.

A user may own up to five Workspaces and may invite Members. Each Workspace is separate: its own cache, keys, and credits.

You are responsible for every request and every Result under your account and keys. That includes requests made by Members and by Agents. Keep API keys and access tokens confidential: do not embed them in client-side code or share them outside your organization, and revoke any key you believe is compromised. Tell us at [support@outboundsync.com](mailto:support@outboundsync.com) if a key is lost or misused. We may suspend keys or Workspaces to protect the Service, other customers, or third parties.

We do not close dormant accounts automatically. There is no self-serve account-deletion path today. Email support if you need an account closed.

## 4\. Agencies

Agencies may use KingMinos for their clients. Use one Workspace per client where you can. A user may own up to five Workspaces.

The agency is the Customer. The agency is responsible for its clients’ use, must make sure each client follows these KingMinos Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy, and indemnifies OutboundSync for claims that arise from a client’s use (see section 20).

## 5\. How the service works

KingMinos is an enrichment router. You send what you have about a company or a person. We choose vendors, retry, and return one Result.

**House-key mode.** If a Workspace has no key for a vendor, we may call that vendor on OutboundSync’s account when the vendor is on the house-key list. Some Vendors are available to customer Workspaces only in BYOK mode.

**BYOK mode.** If a Workspace stores its own vendor key, we use that key and that vendor contract for that hop. We do not cache BYOK Results, except public company logos (section 7).

You choose which endpoints to call and which vendor keys to store. That choice decides which data goes to which Vendor. We may add, remove, or change Vendors and sources without a refund.

Our subprocessors — infrastructure services and house-key Vendors — are listed at [trust.outboundsync.com](https://trust.outboundsync.com). A Vendor you use in BYOK mode is your own vendor, under your contract with it. It is not OutboundSync’s subprocessor and is not on that list.

## 6\. Customer inputs and vendor processing

When you send a request, we send the inputs that request needs to the Vendors it uses. Typical person inputs are a name, email, LinkedIn URL, or company domain. Typical company inputs are a domain or company name.

Vendors process those inputs under their own terms. A Vendor may retain inputs or use them to train its models. Any promise we make that we do not train on your inputs covers OutboundSync only, not Vendors.

A BYOK request runs under your contract with that Vendor. You are responsible for that Vendor’s fees and for complying with its terms.

We do not use your inputs or Results to train machine-learning models.

## 7\. Caching and retention

We cache house-key Results **per Workspace only**. Members of that Workspace may see a cached Result for as long as it lives. We do not serve one Workspace’s cached Result to another Workspace, except public company logos (below).

Cache lifetime depends on the endpoint. The longest cache is 30 days (person phone, title, and language; company description). Other endpoints are shorter: employment verification 7 days; company resolve 24 hours (4 hours for a miss); company domain a few minutes in memory.

**BYOK Results are never cached**, not even for the same Workspace. Company logos are the one exception.

**Company logos** are stored in a public store as public company branding. Anyone may be served the same logo image, including a logo first fetched with a customer’s own vendor key.

**Raw vendor responses** are kept for 30 days and then deleted.

Account, billing, and credit-ledger records are kept as long as we need them for the account, chargebacks, and the law. The credit ledger is kept for seven years.

## 8\. Results and licence

Results can include business contact data about professionals. That includes name, job title, employer, work email, **personal email addresses** (when a vendor returns one), **mobile and direct-dial numbers** supplied by vendors, do-not-call flags where a vendor supplies them, LinkedIn URL, inferred languages, and employment status. We do not return home address, date of birth, gender, or salary.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Results for **internal business use** only, for as long as your account is in good standing.

You may not:

-   resell, redistribute, or publish Results, including as a standalone dataset, or include them in a product you sell;
-   build a competing contact database or a substitute for the Service;
-   use Results for consumer purposes;
- use Results to make decisions about credit, employment, insurance, housing, or any other eligibility decision covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act or similar laws.

Where a Vendor supplies a do-not-call flag, it travels with the phone Result. Most Vendors supply none. A phone Result without a flag has not been checked against any do-not-call list, and a flag does not make a number lawful to call. You still have to follow the law (section 9).

## 9\. Customer’s lawful-use duties

You are responsible for how you use Results. You represent that you have all rights, notices, and lawful bases needed to submit identifiers (such as company domains, names, email addresses, and profile URLs) to KingMinos and to use the Results, including under data-protection laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA.

You must give your own notices, get any consents you need, follow do-not-call, telemarketing, and email laws (including CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and their state and foreign equivalents), keep suppression lists, and honor opt-outs.

If we tell you that a person has opted out, objected, or asked to be deleted, you must delete or suppress affected Results within 30 days and stop using them.

If you receive an opt-out or deletion request about a KingMinos Result, forward it to [privacy@outboundsync.com](mailto:privacy@outboundsync.com).

When a person has asked us to delete their data, objected, or opted out, we decline later lookups of that person for every customer, including BYOK lookups. That lookup returns an error and no Result, and no credits are charged.

## 10\. Acceptable use

Your use must follow the [KingMinos Acceptable Use Policy](https://kingminos.com/acceptable-use/).

You may not scrape the Service, extract Results in bulk beyond ordinary API use, reverse engineer the Service, resell access, or build a substitute product. You may not circumvent rate limits, credit metering, spend limits, or free-credit eligibility rules, including by creating multiple Workspaces or accounts.

We apply a daily provider-credit cap (10,000 per Workspace today) and rate limits. We may change those limits.

## 11\. Billing and credits

### 11.1 How credits work

We deduct credits per Result. Credits we hold for a call and do not use go back to your balance. We return credits for an empty or invalid vendor Result. On some endpoints, a vendor call that times out after the vendor was contacted is charged at its estimated credits, because the vendor may have charged us. The endpoint documentation says which.

Credits have no cash value. They are not a stored-value account, not a deposit, not transferable between Workspaces, and not redeemable for money except where the law requires it. The credits charged for a request follow the pricing posted at the time of the request.

### 11.2 Pay as you go

Credits you use on pay-as-you-go are billed to your card monthly in arrears at $0.10 per credit, with no commitment. By adding a card you authorize those charges. Credits billed at the pay-as-you-go rate do not expire while the account is active.

A monthly spend limit applies. The default is $100 per Workspace per month. Email support to change it.

### 11.3 Subscription

A monthly subscription fee buys a monthly credit allotment. Current published plans (names may change; the [pricing page](https://kingminos.com/pricing/) controls):

Plan

Price

Monthly credits

Rollover cap (2×)

Starter

$99 / month

1,200

2,400

$249 / month

3,300

6,600

Pro

$499 / month

7,500

15,000

Scale

$999 / month

16,500

33,000

Unused subscription credits roll over up to **twice** the monthly allotment. Credits above that cap lapse. They are not refunded.

If you cancel, the subscription stays active until the end of the paid period. Subscription credits, including unused rollover, stay usable until then, then lapse. They are not refunded.

Overage beyond the allotment and rollover is billed at the pay-as-you-go rate ($0.10 per credit), inside your spend limit.

### 11.4 Free credits

The welcome grant (today: 100 credits for the first Workspace on a work-email domain), onboarding grants (today: 250 for creating an API key, 250 for the first successful API call, 250 for the first MCP call, 500 for adding your own vendor key after its first successful call) and the 10-credit daily allowance are promotional. Daily credits do not stack. Free credits have no cash value, are not refundable, and cannot be transferred. We may change or end them.

### 11.5 Promo and partner bonus credits

- A **partner code** doubles the first purchase (100% bonus), up to 10,000 bonus credits.
- A **promo code** adds bonus credits. Each code can be redeemed once per account. Each code may have its own redemption window and redemption cap. Those limits control when you can redeem the code, not how long the credits last.

**Bonus credits are kept.** They do not expire, they do not count toward the subscription rollover cap, and they stay after you cancel a subscription. They leave only when you spend them, when we reverse them because the purchase that earned them was refunded or charged back, or when we terminate for breach or fraud.

Bonus credits are credits only. They have no cash value. We never refund them. We never pay them out as cash. They are not transferable.

### 11.6 Subscription and free credits

Subscription credits and free credits have no cash value, are not refundable, and cannot be transferred.

### 11.7 Refunds

Refunds are at our discretion, unless the law requires one. We expect to refund only for billing errors. We do not refund unused subscription credits, unused bonus credits, or fees, except where the law requires it. See section 17.

If we refund all or part of a purchase, we remove the credits that purchase granted, including any bonus credits tied to it, in proportion to the amount refunded. If those credits are already spent, we may suspend paid use of the Workspace until the balance is resolved. A chargeback or payment dispute may lead to suspension of the Workspace and reversal of the credits tied to it.

### 11.8 Prices, taxes, failed payments

Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes. You are responsible for taxes. We may change prices on advance notice. A change applies to the next billing period.

If a payment fails or a chargeback is filed, we may suspend the Workspace and reverse credits.

### 11.9 Custom

Custom plans are sold on their own contract. That contract controls if it conflicts with these KingMinos Terms. A later Enterprise or Custom contract for KingMinos wins over these KingMinos Terms for that customer.

## 12\. Third-party data

Results are compiled in real time from Vendors, public sources, and automated and AI-assisted processing, as available. They may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate. Review a Result before you rely on it or write it to your systems. We do not promise that a Result is accurate, complete, current, or fit for a particular use. Vendor warranties do not pass through to you. Sources may change without a refund.

## 13\. AI output and agents

Some Results are produced or judged by AI services. AI-generated or AI-judged output may be wrong. Check it before you rely on it.

An Agent acts for you. You are responsible for what it requests and what you do with the Result.

## 14\. Data protection split

- **Results and request data.** KingMinos keeps no database of people. Each Result is a real-time lookup made on your instructions, house-key or BYOK. For that data OutboundSync is your processor / service provider, under the [KingMinos DPA annex](https://kingminos.com/dpa/), which applies to every KingMinos customer, with or without an Order Form. You are the controller: you decide whom to look up and what to do with the Result, and you need your own lawful basis and notices (section 9).
- **Account data.** For account, billing, and support data, OutboundSync is a controller / business, under the [KingMinos Privacy Policy](https://kingminos.com/privacy/).
- The [data notice](https://kingminos.com/data-notice/) explains this to the people you look up.

If we receive a request from a person about a Result in your Workspace, we will delete what we hold, add the person to our suppression list (section 9), and pass the request to you; you must handle it as controller. If you receive one, you may also send it to [privacy@outboundsync.com](mailto:privacy@outboundsync.com) so we delete our copy.

## 15\. Not a consumer reporting agency

OutboundSync is not a consumer reporting agency. KingMinos is not a consumer report. You may not use the Service or any Result to determine eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing, or any other purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act or similar laws.

## 16\. Sanctions, export, and the US bulk sensitive data rule

You represent that you are not a sanctioned party, are not located in a comprehensively sanctioned jurisdiction, and will not use the Service for a prohibited end use under US export or sanctions law.

You will not use the Service to transfer bulk US sensitive personal data or government-related data to a country of concern or a covered person under the US Department of Justice bulk sensitive data rule (28 CFR Part 202), or any successor rule.

If you break this section we may terminate immediately.

## 17\. Suspension and termination

We may throttle, suspend, terminate, or suppress data — including when a Vendor demands it — without liability to you.

You may cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.

We do not refund unused subscription credits or fees except where the law requires it. We do not refund if we terminate for breach or fraud. Billing-error refunds in section 11.7 still apply.

When the Service ends, your licence to new Results ends. Sections 8 (licence limits), 9, 11 (amounts owed), 12 through 21, 23, and 24 survive.

## 18\. Warranty disclaimer

THE SERVICE AND ALL RESULTS, INCLUDING AI-GENERATED OR AI-JUDGED OUTPUT, ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUTBOUNDSYNC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT RESULTS ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR LAWFUL FOR YOUR USE.

## 19\. Liability cap

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUTBOUNDSYNC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM THE SERVICE OR THESE KINGMINOS TERMS.

OUTBOUNDSYNC’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR KINGMINOS CLAIMS IN ANY TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100) AND (B) THE KINGMINOS FEES YOU PAID IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

Your indemnity in section 20 sits outside this cap.

## 20\. Customer indemnity

You will indemnify and hold harmless OutboundSync and its officers, directors, employees, and contractors against claims, damages, fines, and reasonable legal fees arising from:

-   your misuse of the Service or of Results;
-   your breach of these KingMinos Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy;
-   a Vendor or data-subject claim about data you submitted or about how you used a Result;
-   a regulator action about your use;
- use by an agency’s clients (section 4).

## 21\. Vendor terms

Vendor terms give you no rights against OutboundSync. Vendors are not third-party beneficiaries of these KingMinos Terms, except that a Vendor may demand we suppress data and we may do so (section 17).

Nothing in these KingMinos Terms gives a third party a right to enforce them, except as this section says.

## 22\. Changes

We may update these KingMinos Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, the DPA annex, and the KingMinos Privacy Policy from time to time. Each version is posted on kingminos.com with its date at the top.

**Notice by email.** Before a material change takes effect, we will email it to the address on each KingMinos account, at least 30 days in advance. A change required by law, or needed to protect the Service, other customers, or the people in Results, may take effect sooner. We will email you about it as soon as we can. Changes that are not material (clarifications, corrections, new features) take effect when posted. Changes to the sub-processor list follow the notice rule in the DPA annex.

**Continued use is acceptance.** If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms. That includes use through the API, the MCP server, the CLI, skills, or an Agent, and use by your Members. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel your subscription before the change takes effect. Cancellation works as section 17 describes.

**Optional re-acceptance.** For some changes we may also ask each user to accept the new version once in the app, by ticking a box. Until that user does, API and MCP keys belonging to them return an error with a link to the app.

**Keep your email current.** We send these notices to the email address on your account. You agree to receive them by email and are responsible for keeping that address current. A notice counts as received when we send it.

## 23\. Records, cooperation, survival

We keep records of requests, credits, and acceptances (user, terms version, privacy version, time, IP, user agent) as needed to run the Service and to meet the law.

You will cooperate with reasonable requests from us, a Vendor, or a regulator about your use of the Service, including suppression of a Result.

Sections that by their nature should survive, survive. That includes sections 8 (licence limits), 9, 11 (amounts you still owe), 12 through 21, 23, and 24.
