What a credit buys
Every endpoint is available on every plan. Premium data costs more credits per answer when we deliver an answer. Per-step credit amounts are subject to change.
You are only charged when an answer is delivered. Tried-and-failed lookups, not-found, below your confidence floor, and wrong-person matches cost 0. The most you can be charged is a ceiling, not a per-lookup price.

- Credits are the meter. Your workspace holds a credit balance.
- Holds, then refunds. Before a call runs, KingMinos holds up to that call's credit cap. Whatever the call does not spend goes back to your balance.
- You pay for the answer. Sources that were tried and lost cost nothing. Answers below your confidence floor cost 0.
- Every endpoint on every plan. Free credits spend on all of them. Premium data costs more credits per answer.
- Free credits. Every verified work-email account gets 10 free credits a day (unused credits expire at midnight UTC). Personal and disposable email addresses do not qualify. Only the first workspace on your company’s email domain gets the daily grant; teammates join that workspace by invite. Anyone can still sign up and buy credits. Welcome and onboarding grants (up to 1,250 credits as you set up) do not expire — they last until you spend them.
- KingMinos spends the credits that expire soonest first, so today’s free credits are used before one-time grants and purchased credits. Purchased pay-as-you-go credits sit in your balance under the KingMinos Service Terms (https://kingminos.com/terms/).

What does confidence mean?
Every answer carries a confidence. You can set a floor. Answers below that floor cost 0. Low still cleared a high bar — it is not junk.
Can I bring my own keys?
Yes. Store a vendor key and each step that runs on it costs 0.1 KingMinos credits. Those answers barely touch your balance.
What happens to unused subscription credits?
They roll over up to 2× the monthly allotment. Excess lapses. If you cancel, credits stay through the end of the paid period, then lapse. They are never refunded.
